Shami kababs are frequently served in our homes and a perfect snack for dinner parties , whether
it is guest serving food. easy to make beef kababs can be enjoyed as a side
dish in meal or as a light snacks.Its simple and quick way to enjoy the taste
beef and all ingredients. I am sharing
its recipe with you with all steps involved to make these shami kababs.

Ingredients
- Beef keema- ½ kg
- Chana dal- 1 cup
- Cinnamon stick- 1 pc
- Cloves-6 pcs
- Bay leaf-2 pcs
- Green cardamom-3 pcs
- Black cardamom-1 pc
- Black papper-10 pcs
- Water- 3 cup
- Ginger-4-5 (1 inch cuts)
- Salt- 1 ½ tsp or as required
- Cumin powder-1 tsp
- Onion- 2 medium finely chopped
- Green chillies- 5 chopped
- Coriander powder- ½ tsp
- garam masala- 1 tsp
- Fresh coriander- 3 bunches chopped
- Oil for frying
Method
- In a bowl soak 1 cup of chana dal for 30 mins.
- Take the pressure cooker on low flame heat. add beef, chana dal( gram lentils), whole spices like- cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf , green cardamom, black cardamom, black pappers and add ginger, salt and 3 cup of water.mix them thoroughly.
- Pressure cooker the mixture until the beef gets soft or 4-5 whistles.
- If there is any excess water, dry it by turning the heat up.
- Take the cooked mixture in blender till it becomes smooth thick paste.
- Mix in the chopped onion,chopped green chillies, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder and fresh coriander.
- Take a hand full of the mixture and shape it into a small round patties or flate balls.
- Do the same for the rest of mixture.
- Shallow fry the kababs from both sides until golden brown.
How to make shami kabab
- In a bowl soak 1 cup of chana dal for 30 mins.
- Take the pressure cooker on low flame heat. add beef, chana
dal( gram lentils), whole spices like- cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf , green
cardamom, black cardamom, black pappers and add ginger, salt and 3 cup of water.mix
them thoroughly.
- Mix well thoroughly and cook until the beef gets soft or 4-5 whistles.
- Now remove the cover and mix it well.
- If there is any excess water remains, dry it by turning the heat up.
- Take the cooked
mixture in blender till it becomes smooth thick paste.
- Mix in the chopped onion,chopped green chillies, garam
masala, cumin powder, and fresh coriander and mix thoroughly.
- Take a hand full of the mixture and shape it into a small round patties or flat balls.
- Heat a tbsp of oil in pan shallow fry the kababs from both sides until golden
brown.
